Serving/Storage Instructions

Cook the rice

Rinse the rice in cold water.

Pop it in a pot with twice as much water as rice.

Bring to a boil, stir then cover with a lid. Simmer on low for 10–12 minutes until fluffy (Don’t lift the lid or stir, let the steam do its magic.)

Turn off the heat and let it rest for a couple minutes, then fluff with a fork.

Heat rice cup for 40 seconds in microwave if purchased

Heat the stir-fry

Remove from the vacuum bag and place in a microwave-safe bowl.

Cover loosely and heat on high for 3–4 minutes, or until hot all the way through.

Stir halfway to keep things even.

Plate it up

Spoon the rice into a bowl or plate, then top with the hot teriyaki chicken and veggies.

Finish it off

Sprinkle over the sesame seeds for a bit of crunch and nutty flavour.

Enjoy

Serve warm and dig in. Tastes great as-is or with a drizzle of soy sauce if you’re feeling extra.

Store the stir-fry in the fridge and use within 3 days.
